Pool use best practices

• Teach at a conversational volume. No yelling across the pool
• Use a single lane only, even when the pool is empty. If you have two swimmers, have them go one after the other, not side by side
• Keep belongings to one chair and minimize use of deck space
• When a guest enters the pool area, introduce yourself, offer to share the space, and make it clear you're happy to reschedule if needed
• Never ask a hotel guest to move or come back later
• If space feels tight or a guest appears bothered by your presence, end the lesson and report a facility issue
