Slow down: Please depart early and drive slow through this neighbourhood where children are at play. ⚠️🚸🚗💨

Respect for pool hosts and neighbours: If you arrive early, please refrain from loitering, wandering around the property, or peering into windows or knocking on doors. Make sure all attendees have read and understood this message along with the pool access details.

Pool use policy: Lessons in our pool are permitted during downtime when space is usually available. In the rare event that residents and learning swimmers cannot share the space, the instructor must yield and cancel the lesson.

Parking options: There is metered parking on Chestnut St or several Parking Lot options nearby.

Pool rules

  1. Follow all access instructions and do not wander the premises
  2. Do not proceed past the waiting area without the instructor
  3. Never enter or use the pool without direct instructor supervision
  4. Parents must stay to watch students less than 16 years of age
  5. Spectating is limited to two people per lesson
  6. Students must not eat within an hour of their lesson
  7. No food or drink except water in non-glass containers
  8. Towel off completely before restroom use to keep floors dry
  9. Finish lessons on time and promptly change and exit afterwards

If early, wait in the lobby

Proceed to the pool only at the time of your lesson.

Head upstairs

Go half way up the staircase and take your first left before the next section of stairs begins.

Head down the hallway

Head straight down the hallway in the far corner towards the fitness centre.

Meet at the fitness centre entrance

Instructors and swimmers meet here at the time of their lesson.

Don't go alone!

Never use the pool without your instructor present and supervising.

Enjoy the pool

If you encounter any pool related issues, let your instructor know, so they can document and report it during the lesson.

Restroom, shower, and changing rooms

The changing rooms are located on the pool deck.

For instructors

Instructor responsibilities

Have a great lesson and please remember the following:

  1. Upon arrival, take note of the pool conditions
  2. Report any issues like cold water, etc. during the lesson
  3. Greet your clients at the designated meeting spot
  4. If you can’t find your clients, use dial-thru to call them
  5. If they do not attend, document their absence with a report
  6. End on-time, tidy up, and leave the pool how you found it
  7. As your client’s chaperone, ensure they leave the pool safely

Instructor check-in process

Walk past the concierge desk and turn right.

Take the elevator to floor L3 and head to the Security Office.

Knock on door for assistance. If there is no response, call (416) 799-8153 and they will be right there.

Sign-in to receive an access card.

Instructor Parking ($10 special all day rate)

Visit the concierge desk, let them know you are teaching with Propel, and register your license plate.

Instructor exit process

Return the access card after your lessons conclude.

Lost cards will incur a $75 replacement fee.
